Configuring relationship duration in risk scoring matrix
Last updated: October 14, 2025
When setting up your risk scoring matrix, you may need to configure a "Relationship Duration" field that calculates the length of the business relationship with your customers.
How relationship duration is calculated
The relationship duration field is based on the validation date of the case file in Ondorse. This means the system will calculate the time elapsed since the KYB (Know Your Business) case was validated and approved in the platform.
Setting up relationship duration rules
To configure relationship duration rules in your risk scoring matrix:
Access your risk scoring matrix configuration in your sandbox environment
Locate the "Relationship Duration" field in your matrix setup
Configure the rule to reference the case validation date from Ondorse
Set your desired scoring thresholds based on relationship length (e.g., newer relationships may have higher risk scores)
Additional risk mapping features
Along with relationship duration, you can also configure other risk mappings, such as:
Country-based risk mappings
NAF (business activity code) risk mappings
Once these mappings are set up, you can update them independently as needed using the risk mappings documentation.
The relationship duration calculation provides an automated way to assess customer risk based on how long you've had a business relationship, with the validation date serving as the starting point for this calculation.
